Beware Coffee

What a cute beautiful warm loving environment. The individual who helped me was amazingly friendly, so refreshing to get good customer service that’s hard to find nowadays. This ginger lime drink is phenomenal and the choco croissant is heartwarming. I also met the owners, who built and decorated the cafe. 100 out of 10.

Had to share this far and beyond gesture from the folks at Beware coffee. To say that the customer service is unparalleled is an understatement. Each time my partner and I have come here, the service is 12/10, friendly, patient, helpful, willing to chat and connect, if you have questions each and every one of the staff is willing to take the time to be present and curious about what we’re saying or inquiring. The reason for this post is just another wonderful experience we had over the weekend (6/13/25). My partner loves to try new, experimental coffee drinks with a variety of flavors and such. He’s much more adventurous than I am. Ha. Well, he ordered a drink that sounded super yummy and he was super excited about it, however he forgot he doesn’t love licorice flavor (Star anise) and realized he didn’t like the drink. I encouraged him to just get another drink but he didn’t want to inconvenience staff. He finally went to the counter and asked to buy another drink to enjoy. The staff immediately said “ no, no, no, we’ll make you something you can enjoy at no cost. Not a big deal at all.” As apologetic as my partner was, they encouraged him to not feel guilty and were speedily in making him something he enjoyed. We left extremely happy and are looking forward to the next time at beware. Customer service goes a long way. Thanks again.

Hands down best quality coffee and espresso drinks in all of the south end between Tukwila and Olympia! It’s also quite adorable inside with all the quaint artwork! So warm and inviting The coffee is so smooth and velvety! They make their own house made syrups too! My favorite is the Oatmilk Mocha! Next I’ll be trying a Cardamom Oatmilk latte. This place makes me so happy

The unique housemade syrups elevate the experience of the coffee. I had a smoky spice syrup mocha with oat milk and am looking forward to trying more specialty drinks when I return. Thanks for being awesome!

I stumbled upon Beware Café completely by accident while driving from Seattle to Olympic National Park, and I’m so glad I did. This charming little spot turned out to be an unexpected gem. The coffee is truly spectacular, rich, smooth, and thoughtfully crafted. I tried the rose petal latte and the lavender latte, and both were absolutely delightful, with subtle floral notes that were perfectly balanced and not overpowering. You can tell the baristas here really care about quality and flavor. Whether you’re just passing through or looking for a cozy stop, this café is definitely worth a detour!

Great coffee spot on McKinley. Best coffee in the area (in my opinion). Friendly staff, can be busy but for good reason. Highly recommend if you are ever in the area.

All I can say is damn! Visiting from Portland and went here based off Reddit and Google reviews. This place did not disappoint! Had an iced oat milk mocha that tasted like elevated chocolate milk. I was sad when I finished it. Their crossiant breakfast sandwich was flaky and cheesy in the best way. Also got the cinnamon crossiant roll and the cream cheese frosting was groin grabbingly good! My gf especially loved her cortado. Best one she had since she was in Prague. Also the atmosphere is cozy with cool art! Immaculate vibes indeed. Do yourself a favor and go here post haste!

Went here on a late Saturday morning. It was busy and lively and the service was amazing. They had run out of vegan food options so I can’t rate the food. (I will next time) Also, there cups are super cute!
